Just came back from Sakura in the Clementi Woods with my parents. Took a few photos on the way there in my Daddy's car. Both my brother and I were photo-taking fanatics earlier.

Went for work yesterday at ST. Regis. This time Shaun placed me under the beverage server for a VIP table!! Woots~ Finally got a chance to serve the VIPs. It was a wedding dinner yesterday. The bride was so pretty and good figure!! Anyway, serving the VIPs yesterday was kind of easy as I had 2 other experts to with me. There was 2 VIP tables and each table had 20 people.

Have to get up early tomorrow to help Wei Da with his packing of the equipments for camp. Hope he packs them faster as time is running out soon. I would be away on ST. John's Island for 4 days 3 nights!! :)) I love that island!!

See everyone soon. I hope to upload photos from the camp.

Didn't go to school to help out at club as I was down with gastric-like pain again after eating Chicken Talk for lunch since yesterday. 3 things that will cause me such pain are ST. John's tap water, Chicken Talk and Bang Deli's (FC5) chicken pieces that they add in those bowl noodles :(( Why is it always chicken???

I miss yesterday! XD *shhh... secret* I hope for this time Freshmen Orientation Camp, there would be more girls :)) Next weekend would be the upcoming Freshmen Orientation Camp for Electrical and Electronics Engineering Club. So fast! I cannot wait for camp! :DD

Oh! By the way, here are the photos of my Daddy and his birthday cake taken last Sunday (16 March 2008), we celebrated it in advance. The Oreo Cheesecake was bought at Jack's Place when we dined in there for our dinner.

That's all for today! :))

Finally got my blog page fixed with Anthony's help! :)) So damn happy! Had the previous problem of having all the blog post overlapping those self-introduction thing. But all is well now. Oh well, Anthony revamped the whole codes of the template of my blog. But I think I still have to change the colour of some text. Anyway, thank you Anthony! :DD

I finally got that photo, taken with my 3 Phillipino friends at ST. Regis Hotel, last Friday. Here it is. Apologies for the very blur photos. All thanks to the shaky photographer.

See, it is very blur isn't it? Well, we are going to take photos again soon :)) Work went quite well yesterday. I was given quite simple task during the preparation of the events while others had to turn over the event in a very very short time. Had 2 events consisting of a Doctors' Lunch (Buffet) and a wedding (western dinner). I think the newly weds are quite rich as they brought plenty of absolute vodkas and hard liquor. Anyway. My job throughout the day was rather easy. I was incharge for the folding of napkins for the tables (350 pax), tray underliner, water jug underliner, waiter's cloth and cutleries pocket. Quite easy right? Furthermore I have people helping me too :DD Other than that, I am a beverge server once again. *haiis* I am never a food runner. A beverge server have to stand by near your table almost at all times and offer and top up the guests drinks, fold and unfold napkins for them and do clearing. I got to know 2 new friends during the wedding event. They are my side station partners Yong Xiang and Stanley. And I was quite shocked when Yong Xiang mentioned they are cousins. I was glad that whenver Li Bing have the free time, he would come and help me with the clearing. He was the food runner yesterday. Somehow, yesterday's clearing was quite hectic. I had a table of elderly men. My side station partners went saying "Wow. Not bad arh Sarah. You have a table of handsome guys. Never take photo with them arh?" I was like "durhs... wth!" One of my side station partner stanley, had a table with a heavy alcholic drinker. He mentioned that guy drank over 10 glasses of red wine and still counting. I didn't keep track of the number of glasses of red wine my table of men were drinking. Anyway, 1 guy in my table asked me to clear his glass of water as he only wanted red wine. *so pro la!* And there was this guy who came popping by my table to chat with the rest and ate the food. As I only set cutleries for those sitting 'permently' at my table, I had to lay those cutleries again once he sit down. And whenever he come, he would ask, "How am I suppose to eat without my cutleries?" It's like WTH?! How am I suppose to know when you want to join this table for dinner when you come and go whenever you like. Oh ya, some people had slight problems using the serving gear yesterday to serve those bread. The bread sure smells nice :))

Enough of my ranting on my job. Now to serious business. My personal tutor, Mr Andrew Goh, hasn't got back to me about the forward module thing. OMG! I emailed him twice and still no reply coming from him. Anyone has his number?

Today's post shall end here. Shall update again soon! :))

Oh ya. I looked through some of my friends' friendster and this was what I found in Zhen Kai's friendster. Didn't know he actually took a photo of Jian Le doing a split! XD

Here I am posting again!! :)) But was having headache today.

Anthony gave me a link on a personality test: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

And here is my result:

Your Type is ENTJ

Extraverted: 11%

Intuitive: 38%

Thinking: 1%

Judging: 11%

Qualitative analysis of your type formula You are:

slightly expressed extravert

slightly expressed judging personality

Oh well, we are of almost the same personality. But he claimed that I don't use my brains as much as him as apparently, I dun think! -durhs- No wonder I love disturbing him so much! *bleahs* :DD

Went back to work last Sunday and met my 3 jungle friends there! :)) Miss them loads! We even took a photo using Melody's handphone but she didn't have a chance to send it to me :(( Nevermind, I am going to grab that photo as soon as I see her the next time. Work seems easier to me recently. Know most of the stuff by heart now. Got my salary yesterday of only $180 for 4 working days. But damn it, my salary for the first 4 days added up to only $48. GREAT! Working this Friday again! *yipee*

Shall end here today! :))

Everyone in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering knows their course concentration, but not me. Sad man. I have to wait till 1 week before school starts before I can determine what course I am entered into.

Going back to school again later. But the timing for today is at 10am report. My cough and sore throat is getting worst while flu is getting better. I played basketball yesterday (Full court) with the rest while waiting for my father to fetch me. But Cynthia and I being girls didn't get the chance to run much :(( Played with Wee Kiat after that using our left hand to shoot ABC. Quite fun too.

Going to end here as I am going to be late soon. *arrgh!* XD

Sunday, 2 March 2008

Here I am posting again. Was having slight fever today due to the rain during my recee.

I went for the Armed Forces Career Experience yesterday. Met my aunt at 2.30pm yesterday and we drove to Marina Square. We headed straight for the Navy section. On the way there, I saw Rui Xiang, Cher Wei and Amanda there too. Anyway, a guy from the Navy helped us with all our questions and told us the jobscopes etc. He said with my course (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), I might be posted to the segment where I will operate the missile launching system. I was thinking that's so cool. But I will have to know about trouble shooting etc on the system. Somehow, I have that passion for Navy. Soon after that, my aunt and I were hungry and we walked around in search for food. We decided to go to Sakae Sushi as the 店小二 was not opened yet to customers. We ate alot, and even ordered a tempura ice-cream to share. I find that Sakae Sushi is not really up to my expectations. Its like any normal sushi sold at the supermarkets. But their tempura ice-cream was good. After our meal, we walked around the mall. After walking much, we walked past the Swensen's and decided to have their ice-cream. Although we felt bloated, nothing can stop us from those mouth-watering ice-cream. My aunt ordered a 'macademia mania' and I ordered a 'hazelnut dazzle'. The ice-cream was so nice! I guess I am going to put on lots of weight again from all those eating.

Have to end here, going to leave home soon for school. *haiis* My cough and flu is getting worst. Somehow, I miss working. I miss my new friends there :(( I hope I can get back to work soon and hope that they are all there and that we can work together. All those 'jungle' fun that we had were never-ending. Hope I get to work this Sunday.

Saturday, 1 March 2008

Just woke up from my afternoon sleep and eaten my dinner. I seldom take an afternoon nap. But the reason for this is that I just came back from my Night Activity recee this morning. We cycled overnight. But the funny thing is that, my legs are not really tired out from the ride, instead, my arms are aching from all those 'braking-sessions'. I guess I have to train on my perserverance and endurance instead of fully on my stamina.

I am down with flu and sore throat after braving the sudden torrential rain that came upon us while we were resting on the extended part out to the sea at East Coast Park this morning at around 4.30am. We were enjoying the scenery and the strong wind kept blowing against our face. It was so damn cold. Both Shu Hui and I were almost 'freezing' although we kept our windbreaker on. We kind of hid behind Cher Wei to shield us from the oncoming wind. All of the sudden, large and freezing torrents of raindrops started pelting on us. We hopped onto our bikes and sped off to a nearby shelter. At the corner of my eye, I saw Ke Rong and Boon Yong hid under a small shelter that looks like those old orange roof bus-stops. But soon, they came out again to seek for a better refuge. Apparently, that shelter didn't help much as it was too small and the rain was too strong. To escape from the pouring rain, we had to ride as fast as possible with our heads bent down to shield our eyes from the rain. As we rode fast, the freezing raindrops that landed on us froze us deeply. We had to ride quite a distance before we seek shelter in a nearby toilet. we dried ourselves and not long after, the rain was reduced to a drizzle. We decided to get on with our journey to the Macdonalds. As we rode, the heavy rain came on us again. Water kept sliding into my eyes and I literally had to keep my eyelids closed while riding to prevent the rainwater from entering my eyes as it will sting badly when it comes in contact with my contact lenses. Finally we reached the Macdonalds. We parked our bikes outside and entered it. The coldness of the aircon greeted our already frozen bodies. We took turns to order our food and I ordered hotcakes with sausages. Somehow, I did not finish everything. I guess I am losing my appetite in my favourite topic: food. Anyway, we sat and rested till 7.30am and had our debriefing and to return our bikes. The whole night was so energy taxing,

Sometimes, I am regretting what I have done to others and myself. *Haiis* It's really difficult to be everyone's 'good-man'.

Didn't had the chance to post for the last few days. I went to the airshow and it was great, I will upload all the photos taken after I gathered it from the owner of the photos. *hahas*

I shall end here :)) Going to get back to sleep soon!

Get to know yourself better

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education:
Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own.

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.

Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

Just something I found out. But I find that it is only like 75% true. *hahas*
